Samantha is a hard-working and dedicated Physician Assistant who takes pride in her ability to care for and communicate with patients. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she ventured south to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Emory University (Atlanta, GA). After graduation, she continued her journey further south to attend the University of South Alabama (Mobile, AL) to earn her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During her studies, she and her classmates were committed to helping underserved populations with a focus on elementary school students and the homeless.

Before she joined Dr. Van Noord in practice in 2017, she worked in Primary care and Urgent care settings (Inland Empire, CA). Samantha and her husband (USMC) have been stationed in Southern California since 2015, where they enjoy camping, hiking, and visiting some of the many microbreweries that San Diego has to offer. Samantha, her husband, and their two dogs recently welcomed a baby boy into their family!

Samantha endeavors to improve the lives of her patients with a multimodal approach to pain management. She is committed to compassionate care and practicing safe, effective medicine.
