In the conventional medication management group, 85% of patients in the SCS 10-kHz group responded to therapy and reported >50% pain relief whereas in the medication management group only 5% of patients responded to therapy. 72% of the patients in the SCS group also reports significant improvements in neurological function compared with only 6% in the medication management group.
